Management Team
Brad Maddox
Co-Founder and CEO of Next LVL Energy, was the former Vice President of Drilling and Completions for EQT Corporation. He has been an executive leader in the oil and gas business with over 14 years’ experience. Brad is a graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the Petroleum Engineering Department for Marietta College. He began his oil & gas career in Texas as a drilling engineer with Energy Corporation of America. In 2009, Brad joined EQT Corporation in Pennsylvania. Working in EQT’s Production business unit, he held numerous roles of increasing responsibility. His experience ranges from developing high-pressure/high-temperature horizontal wells in Texas, to developing heavy oil wells and installing pipelines in Montana, to off-shore well designs in New Zealand, to drilling, completing, and plugging deep and shallow wells throughout the Appalachian Basin.
Clay Cochran
Co-Founder and COO of Next LVL Energy, was the former Rig Move and Logistics Manager for EQT Corporation. He has been an industry leader in logistics and construction for the past 15 years. Clay is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. He began his oil and gas career with T.K. Stanley where he held various management level positions within multiple service lines ranging from well site construction, rig move operations, pipeline construction, and special projects with the Port Authority in Alabama and Louisiana. In 2013, Clay launched a startup company, Monster Heavy Haulers LLC in Buckhannon, West Virginia. He grew the company to over 80 employees servicing oil and gas customers in the Appalachian Basin. Clay joined EQT Corporation in 2015 and headed up the rig moving and logistics department for the company where he was able to work with on-site supervisors and transform how the company moved rigs.
Theresa N Comisso
Director of Sales and Marketing of Next LVL Energy. Theresa brings over 20+ executive years of sales and marketing experience, spending the last decade of sales in the Oil and Gas Industry. She is a West Virginia native and a graduate of West Liberty University, with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and an MBA from Franciscan University specializing in sales and marketing. Her Oil and Gas experience covers Upstream, Midstream and Downstream sectors of our industry. She has built an extensive client base within the Appalachian Basin and throughout the Texas region. She enjoys networking, establishing relationships and always lending a helping hand.
